Quinta Brunson, inspired by a Black female figure in her life, crafted one of the funniest and most compelling scripted series that not only portrays the challenges educators face but also vividly underscores the essential presence of Black educators as everyday role models for Black children, filling a vital gap in representation and support within the education system.
